TechEd India 2012- All things Azure

TechEd India 2012- All things Azure

Since my focus is all things Azure, I wanted to consolidate the various Azure sessions happening at #TechEdIn. In this #techedin, in addition to Windows 8, one thing which will be covered in a big way is going to be “All about Windows Cloud”- that is Windows Azure. So, don’t miss the keynotes that will give you the big picture about the directions and where Microsoft is headed. Besides the content, the exciting thing about keynotes is the wonderful speakers and demos etc. that follow.

If you are spending time reading this, you are obviously interested in Azure. One of the best ways to follow a technology is to leverage the social media to learn and follow the people who enable your learning and for your convenience I have linked all the speakers’ names with twitter ids (where I was able to figure out their twitter IDs). It’s definitely worthwhile following them.

Day 1:

Keynote 1: Sanket Akerkar, Managing Director, Microsoft, India.

If you want to hear Sanket talk, do check him out at the NDTV Cloud Talk.

Ravi Venkatesan (personally, I have always been a great fan of Ravi), former Microsoft India Chairman and Corporate Vice President said the below while welcoming Sanket on-board-

Welcoming Akerkar Ravi added, “Sanket brings with him an excellent understanding of enterprises and their needs in an evolving economy, and the new emerging trends around cloud computing that will enable Microsoft India to greater success.”

All the more from a cloud perspective, you should not miss this keynote.
